the same studies that have said the cause of the end of the last ice age was "global climate change" yet of all the idiots in this world who are drinking the al gore kool aid......not one has been able to tell me what caused said global climate change

we know it wasnt planes or SUVs.........we know it was energy or oil consumption

hell......we know it wasnt even caused by people

so what exactly caused those glaciers and that ice to melt, and the global temperature to warm?

As for the global climate change I personally think it's a combination of a lot of things that we has humans have done to the environment. I'm no scientist though. Do you deny that the rise of C02 along with other factors has caused the average global temperature to go up?

You realize that the "facts" that have been presented on this subject by those on the other side are freerepublic right? You also mis-spoke in the other political thread discussing empty threats. Which was obvious the case when the terror threat level was raised on very old intelligence. I'm not a big Gore fan myself and honestly will probably vote republican in the next presidential election. However, some you of guys on both sides left and right are to close minded to either the right or left to ever admit a member from the other site could possibly be right. To me, it's really whats wrong with our government today. Way to many extreme liberals and conservatives.

I did little research on the subject because it really doesn't interest me at all. To me, nuclear war is a much more serious threat to world destruction than global warming. I do think the very simple facts of it show that something is going on to cause our temperature to rise as it has. Finally, when you try to speak down to people on here when you go and state something that is obviously false (empty terror threats)it really makes it easy for people to fire back at you.

the same thing happened and that was 11k years ago

due to the population and subsequent housing increase

the reduction of trees has lead to both higher temps and higher CO2 levels since trees are responsible for both shade and CO2 reduction

Nay, you can't make it so simple. It may be higher (though I would argue to the different), than it has been in recent history. Most weather records go back 100 years at most, so let's don't confuse world history with recent history. As a suggestion, research the mini Ice Age, etc. Not all the facts will be presented in your liberal textbooks.
